People that work in an office often spend a large proportion of their time using a computer. Whether it be manipulating spreadsheets, producing reminder letters, editing the Intranet or a dozen other tasks, I can guarantee that you will have heard or uttered the following phrase:

'there must be a better way of doing this'

There is a lot of repetition in the workplace, some of it unavoidable, however I know that when I’ve said to myself 'there must be a better way' there invariably was. I aim to review current processes (primarily concerning IT) and see if there are any refinements or re-writes that could be made which will save your people time.

I intend to free up your people's time by introducing efficient and more automated processing, enabling more productive use of their skills. Furthermore as the new methods will be created with them they will have a greater breadth of tools to use in the future.

Essentially people will start to consider 'what is the best way to do this' rather than 'how have we done this before'.
